Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.">
  • Position patients and coils on the scanner table, ensuring accurate and safe scanning procedures.">
  • Inject contrast media as required, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.">
  • Monitor image data on computer screens during scans, recognizing normal and abnormal images.">
  • Respond promptly to life-threatening situations, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.">
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, adhering to accepted practices and guidelines.">
  • Promote a culture of excellence, delivering quality patient care in a timely and compassionate manner.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A valid state radiology registration and completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.">
  • Eighteen months of MRI technologist experience, preferably in a critical care setting.">
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.">
