Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU Float Pool

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 15 weeks

Requirements:

  • CA License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Vents, IV start, ICP, tele, conscious sedation skills required
  • Level I Trauma, Charge experience, PA LINES preferred
  • CCRN preferred

Will accept first time travelers with min 3 years experience

ICU Float Pool: 8SCCT, 7SCCT, 6SCCT/4SCCT, 5SCCT, Transplant float (2 high acuity units are in the float cluster)

Will also float to Overflow PACU and other MS/ Tele/PCU, Stepdown

Other Details:

***THIS IS ICU FLOAT POOL (WILL float down to ms/tele/pcu/overflow units when needed)

*Will accept first time travelers with min 3 years exp. Large hospital exp required

Required certs: ACLS, BLS, NIH

ICU Float Pool: 8SCCT, 7SCCT, 6SCCT/4SCCT, 5SCCT, Transplant float (2 high acuity units are in the float cluster).

Will also float to Overflow PACU and other MS/ Tele/PCU, Stepdown.

Summary of Unit Details:

8SCCT (Neuro), 7SCCT (Resp failure, Vent support, hemodynamic instability), 6SCCT/4SCCT (Acute myocardial infarction with complications/ hemodynamic instability), 5SCCT (GU, GI bleeds, Environmental injuries, Shocks, Massive Transfusion), Transplant float (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Heart/Lung)

Please note that Cedars is a comprehensive transplant center-- would prefer RNs who have exposure to this patient population.
