Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator - Machined Core Specialist to join our team at Plascore. As a key member of our Machined Core division, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the fabrication and assembly of components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform finish work on components, assemblies, and products, including forming, potting, splicing, sanding, and trimming.
  • Complete fabrication and assembly per drawings/instructions, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Read, understand, and execute written work instructions for the manufacture of parts.
  • Fulfill documentation requirements by accurately completing all necessary paperwork and entering data into the electronic data system.
  • Inspect parts against quality requirements, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Interpret and follow work schedules, advising on any issues or concerns.
  • Support essential duties and responsibilities with moderate to low supervision.
  • Assist with cleaning and packing operations as needed.
  • Load crates and package parts properly to ensure safe transportation.
  • Operate ovens to select the correct recipe for required operations.
  • Curve expand parts as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer value by delivering high-quality products, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Handle internal and external inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with reduced supervision.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in industrial manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within an industrial setting.
