Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor is a key role in our manufacturing team, responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the production schedule and direct employees in General Fabrication and CNC to meet customer requirements and management objectives.
  • Ship orders on time and determine production schedules based on customer order requirements.
  • Supervise employees to ensure production objectives are met and train employees on the job to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by overseeing employees to ensure MIOSHA, safety rules and regulations are followed.
  • Ensure all ISO quality forms for each procedure regarding production are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Organize storage and processing areas to maximize efficiency and maintain inventory control of work-in-progress and stored material.
  • Submit weekly reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing and develop and recommend changes to improve the efficiency, quality, and performance of the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related supervisory experience in an industrial setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet software, inventory software, and BAI.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
