About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to the aesthetic maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting, patching, and installation of wall protector, wall covering, cove base corner guards, floor covering, and ceiling tile.
  • Collaborating with service personnel, inspectors, and vendors in facility maintenance.
  • Assisting outside service personnel, inspectors, and vendors.
  • Relaying information to all team members as needed.
  • Collaborating with supervisor/manager and ESIC to identify building/equipment/grounds issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 year of experience painting, patching, installing wall covering, ceiling tile, wall protective materials, rubber base, and some floor covering required.
  • Valid and applicable driver's license required.
