Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of computed tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image visibility
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required

Salary: $100,000 per year

Location: Richmond, Virginia
