As a Registered Nurse/Case Manager, you will report directly to the Assistant Director of Student Wellness Services at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, NJ. Under Nurse Practitioner supervision, you will provide general out-patient nursing care to students and emergency medical attention to both students and University personnel in accordance with approved nursing practice as established by the N.J. Board of Nursing. You will maintain records to meet University and state compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, culturally competent nursing care and health education to a diverse campus community with dignity and respect.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records to meet University and state compliance.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Develop and implement health education programs to promote student well-being.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance student health services.
Requirements:
• R.N., ASN required, B.S.N. preferred with current N.J. License and current C.P.R. certification.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a College Health Center, Ambulatory Health Center, or as a Public Health or School Nurse.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional student care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
• Proficiency in computer systems for word processing, data management, and other applications such as electronic scheduling, EMR, and immunization databases.
