Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in various departments with adequate supervision.
- Report to the House Supervisor and Chief Nursing Officer.
- Be willing to float to 2-3 units as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in Oklahoma.
- 2 years' experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certification required; must be obtained during initial orientation if not current upon hire.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification required; must be obtained during the first 6 months of employment if not current upon hire. A lapse in certification may not extend beyond 3 months.
- Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality.
