About the Role

As an Ultrasound Tech, you'll play a vital role in our Radiology department, working closely with our Radiologists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of technical procedures, including ultrasound exams, with independence and initiative.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care.
  • Transfer and transport patients safely and efficiently, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
  • Evaluate image quality on ultrasound units, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Provide accurate and timely patient information to Radiologists, utilizing technical expertise to support diagnosis.
  • Assist in the training of Radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Practice sterile techniques and Universal Precautions, maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, restock supplies, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technologist registered (ARDMS) certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in a related field.
  • Additional registry in vascular ultrasound is desired.
