Job Description
The Support Staff for Students with Special Needs will work directly with our Special Education teachers to provide support services to students with special needs. This role requires a high level of enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to making a positive impact on students' lives.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
- Assist with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support students with daily living skills, such as feeding, toileting, and medication management
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, or other disabilities
- Knowledge of assistive technology devices and software
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
