About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney to join our team in the Westchester, NY office. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. You will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures. You will possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures
  • Utilize outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills
  • Manage a busy time-sensitive caseload independently
  • Work collaboratively with support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation

Requirements

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation

What We Offer

  • Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary
