Job Title: Cashier/Sales AssociateJob Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team at GPM Investments LLC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store appearance and stock, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service Expertise: Provide top-notch service to customers during the busy midday and evening hours, ensuring every customer leaves happier than when they arrived.
  2. Store Appearance and Stock Management: Maintain the store's appearance and stock during peak hours, keeping everything organized and appealing.
  3. Cash Handling and Transaction Management: Handle a high volume of transactions with efficiency and a friendly attitude.
  4. Safety and Security: Ensure a secure and safe shopping environment during the varied dynamics of the mid/second shift.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues to handle the unique pace and challenges of the afternoon and early evening.
  6. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, including regular upkeep of the coffee station, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
  7. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels and assist in inventory processes, ensuring the store is well-equipped for customer needs.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older if located in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO. For all other states, must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
  • Personality Traits: Friendly demeanor, ability to make people feel welcome, detail-oriented, reliable, and flexible.
