We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Process Control Engineer to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and is crucial for delivering electrical, control, and instrumentation support throughout the lifecycle of our cryogenic process plant projects.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include...

  • Providing technical expertise to the electrical and control teams for various projects, including assistance with P&ID development.
  • Coordinating contract electrical and control design tasks to meet project timelines.
  • Specifying, selecting, and verifying major components for projects.
  • Designing and managing all low voltage hardware and software for projects.
  • Creating and overseeing manufacturing, assembly, and testing instructions.
  • Conducting factory and site testing, including demonstrating control systems to clients.
  • Reviewing and recommending corrective actions for manufacturing and assembly challenges.
  • Utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance engineering quality and collaboration across teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Your Educational Background Should Include...

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, along with 10-20 years of relevant experience.

Your Professional Qualifications Should Feature...

  • Expertise in specifying and selecting process instrumentation, including control valves and flowmeters.
  • A solid understanding of continuous chemical production processes.
  • Proficiency in generating essential EC&I documentation, such as P&IDs and control panel schematics.
  • Experience with design calculations, including volt drop and cable sizing.
  • Familiarity with loop tuning and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with sound commercial awareness.
  • Experience in hazardous area design and working conditions.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC/HMI programming, including industrial control communications.
  • A background in cryogenic processes and equipment, such as compressors and pumps.
  • Experience with functional safety standards.
