Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the roasting of chilies, including bell peppers
  • Perform tasks on production lines, such as stuffing jars with olives, pepperoncini, and other vegetables
  • Monitor jars to ensure they remain upright
  • Use a mop or squeegee to move liquid off the floor
  • Load jars onto the production line
  • Remove filled/capped jars and place them in boxes
  • Replenish materials to keep production going, such as lids, labels, and glass
Requirements:

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced food production facility where employees will be on their feet all day, performing repetitive motions. The floor may be wet from vegetable juices. It is a GMP regulated environment, requiring hand washing before entering the production floor, and the wearing of hair nets, beard nets, and BLUE smocks. No false nails, lashes, or jewelry are allowed. The facility handles pepperoncini, jalapenos, and olives, resulting in a pungent smell. The work setting includes varying temperatures and humidity levels, and candidates may be exposed to strong odors and fumes from hot peppers and other products.
