Job Description

As a CT Technologist at Memorial Hospital of Laramie County, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all diagnostic CT procedures meet the established standards of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other involved referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or assist in performing procedures by following physician orders.
  • Conduct all diagnostic CT and designated procedures, ensuring that all studies meet the required standards.
  • Provide clear and concise information to patients and families during exams to provide a calming influence throughout the study.
  • Maintain equipment standards for accrediting, state, and federal agencies.
  • Ensure that all preventive maintenance occurs as scheduled and provide leadership with information regarding equipment failures.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by demonstrating positive interpersonal relations with co-workers, physicians, patients, and others.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current ARRT registry.
  • Current CT registry (if not registered upon hire, must be completed within 12 months of hire date).
  • Wyoming State Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Cheyenne Regional RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.
