Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide exceptional care in a senior living environment. This part-time role focuses on the night shift, offering a balanced schedule of two days on and four days off.
Work Schedule
Part-Time, Night Shift: 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Compensation
Starting at $37 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and manage wellness initiatives for residents.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and assist in quality monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and staff regarding resident care.
- Supervise Medication Technicians and Caregivers, providing guidance on daily tasks.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate with physicians and ancillary providers to follow up on medical orders.
- Document and report any changes in resident conditions or medication reactions.
- Oversee the implementation of resident care plans.
- Handle conflict and make informed decisions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Active LPN or LVN license in the relevant state.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work the specified schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Intermediate skills in computer and mobile device usage.
