Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement electrical and instrumentation systems to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Interpret and manage Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure optimal system design and operation.
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems adhere to relevant safety standards and codes.
- Develop and manage Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process control systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation within the manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align electrical and instrumentation systems with overall manufacturing objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), safety standards, and the design of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Solid experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process control systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to this role.
