Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shop equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and develop solutions for equipment malfunctions, utilizing blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical and electrical repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced certification in mechanical or electrical repair a plus.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plant equipment repair, including electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documentation, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

This role requires moderate lifting, standing for extended periods, and ability to climb ladders or work at heights. You will be exposed to various temperatures, climates, and equipment operations, and may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
