Laboratory Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Civil Engineer with a Professional Engineering (PE) license to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and oversee laboratory tests on construction materials, including soil, concrete, and aggregate.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with Laboratory Manager and Client Coordinator to provide technical support and recommendations.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in laboratory testing methods.
This is a full-time position located in Coraopolis, PA. TRI Environmental, Inc. and Geotechnical Testing Services (GTS) is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5 years of experience in a civil engineering laboratory setting.
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with advanced geotechnical testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory management software.
- Aptitude with mechanical and electrical test systems.
- Familiarity and experience with Trautwein GeoTac Software.
