Salary Information

Job Description

As a CMM Programmer II, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining complex Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs for advanced product lines. You will work closely with engineers, inspectors, and production personnel to resolve quality issues, achieve team objectives, and promote quality principles. Your duties will include:

  • Writing and maintaining CMM programs for advanced product lines based on customer and company specifications
  • Leading troubleshooting and contacting outside technical support services for CMM software as needed
  • Assisting engineers with qualification and validation of new or changed tooling or parts
  • Preparing detailed inspection documentation, including written descriptions of inspection results and deviations from engineering specifications
  • Writing, updating, and improving quality procedures as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in a regulated manufacturing field such as medical devices, aerospace, or pharmaceuticals
  • At least 2 years of experience as a CMM Programmer in a similar field
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, metrology tools, and quality management principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
