Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist plays a vital role in our Cardiac Rehabilitation team, assisting in the development of exercise protocols and prescriptions to support patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of exercise physiology principles and the ability to work closely with other disciplines to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of exercise protocols and prescriptions for cardiac rehabilitation patients
  • Recruit patients and support program expansion
  • Orient new patients and perform clinical assessments
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements

This role requires a Master's degree in exercise physiology or a closely related field, as well as six months of previous experience. Valid CPR and ACLS certification are also required. ACSM – CES and RCEP certifications are preferred.
