Speech-Language Pathologist OpportunitySoliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in Manteno, Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals.
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current certification of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
