Recycling Sorter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Sorter to join our team at our cutting-edge recycle center in Birdsboro. As a key member of our recycling team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of recyclable materials processed for sale to mills or brokers.

Responsibilities:

• Sort items or materials according to type, size, condition, color, or paper grade and place in designated bins.
• Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper PPE is utilized.
• Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and climbing).
• Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials.

Benefits:

• Starting rate: $12.00
• **ATTENDANCE BONUS**: $50.00 per week (that's $2600. per year)
• FREE Transportation is provided for employees from Pottstown to the Recycling plant in Birdsboro
