Procurement Planner

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Planner to join our team at NIC Global. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for creating and releasing work orders and purchase orders to meet inventory goals and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

• Develop and implement production schedules and purchase orders to meet inventory targets and customer delivery dates.
• Monitor and report on manufacturing attainment to ensure timely delivery and communicate with sales team as needed.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, engineering, quality, and sales teams to achieve customer delivery dates.
• Manage change activity at the work order level and work with manufacturing to ensure timely and accurate material management and reporting practices.
• Assess the impact of engineering change orders and execute changes as required.
• Assist with special projects, such as new product or customer ramp-up plans.

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
• Basic knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and bills of material (experience with Syteline ERP system a plus).
• Typically 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
• Proficient with MS Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Excel required.
• Organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
