Effective communication with patients and other healthcare team members is essential, ensuring the emotional, physical well-being, and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes
- Work independently to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform diagnostic general radiology procedures on patients of various ages and body areas
- Confirm clinical data and obtain patient history
- Use lowest possible dose to provide high-quality images
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of related experience
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Massachusetts license with no constraints
- Certification from a recognized agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications
