About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts
  • Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols to ensure a clean and sterile environment
  • Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active LVT license in WA state
  • 2 years of continuous veterinary technician/assistant experience
  • Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine benefiting our patients
  • Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate and support each other
  • Paw-sitive, kind, and provide trustworthy communication to patients, team members, and clients
  • Desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician
