Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapting procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners and other equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of CT technology and imaging protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and students, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Radiography (R)(ARRT) and Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT).
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience with CT scanner maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
