This role is an individual contributor position reporting directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a reusable and loosely coupled architecture grounded in a profound understanding of Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • Evaluate current systems and propose architectural enhancements to boost efficiency and functionality.
  • Develop design patterns leveraging AWS services (e.g., SQS, SNS, Redis) in conjunction with iPaaS solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud).
  • Enhance API performance focusing on response times, reliability, and resource optimization.
  • Diagnose complex production issues related to APIs, pinpoint the root cause, and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Engage actively in the design and strategy formulation of integration architecture and establish best practice patterns.
  • Build integration features and functionalities with minimal oversight.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in integration.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure effective implementation of integration solutions.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 8+ years of expertise in iPaaS implementations such as MuleSoft, OIC, or AWS.
  • Professional Cloud certification (e.g., AWS, OCI).
  • 8+ years of experience with RESTful Web Services APIs, XML, and JSON.
  • 8+ years of proficiency in Object-oriented Programming Languages (Java, C#, Python).
  • Experience in data architecture, design, and data modeling, as well as integration architecture and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification.
  • Knowledge of or certification in iPaaS.
  • Experience with Agile and BDD/TDD development methodologies.
  • Experience in a regulatory, compliance-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with SaaS Applications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Zuora, Workday, Snowflake).
  • Understanding of Data Integration patterns (e.g., Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps Lifecycle, including monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
