A hotel in Prestonsburg KY is in search of a reliable and meticulous individual to become part of our team as a Room Attendant.

This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary along with appealing benefits.

As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine and thorough cleaning duties in guest accommodations, communal spaces, and service areas in accordance with company standards
  • Change and refresh bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities as required
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snack items in guest rooms
  • Notify the appropriate department of any maintenance issues or concerns
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is necessary
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation protocols
  • Assist guests with luggage and other needs as required
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
