Job Summary:
SSM Health is seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose eye conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with eye disorders
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on eye health and disease management
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience working in ophthalmology or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
