Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the state of Missouri and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, with prolonged standing and walking each shift.
