Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Frontier Senior Living. This role is essential in ensuring that our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for delivering comprehensive cleaning services to our residents, which includes:

  • Meticulously cleaning vacant apartments and preparing them for new occupants.
  • Regularly maintaining cleanliness in all resident living spaces and communal areas.
  • Ensuring that all areas of the community are tidy, attractive, and safe for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Managing laundry services for linens, including sorting, washing, folding, and delivering.
  • Keeping the housekeeping cart organized and clean.
  • Reporting maintenance needs to management promptly.
  • Adhering to safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and being knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
  • Exhibiting a professional demeanor that reflects our commitment to service and attentiveness to residents' needs.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, with assistance for heavier items.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent physical activities including lifting, pushing, pulling, moving equipment, climbing, bending, and stooping.
  • Visual acuity to interpret requests from residents and staff.
  • Comfortable with climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Consistent performance of duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Familiarity with common cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, and floor polishers.
  • Willingness to work with the elderly population.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
