Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team on a locum tenens basis. As a Physician Assistant with Weatherby Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in an OB & GYN clinic setting
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
- Active state license as a Physician Assistant
- BC required
- Ability to work weekdays, days, and local candidates within driving distance are preferred
- 10-12 patients per day on a slow day or may go as high as 18-20 patients
- Credentialing needed
- DEA needed
- Health, vision, dental, and 401(k) retirement benefits offered
