Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Acute Care Surgery and Gynecologic Oncology. As a key member of our surgical care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history and physical assessment, perioperative and postoperative management, and evaluation and management of co-morbid medical conditions.
- Work closely with our Acute Care Surgeon and Gynecologic Oncology team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in teaching and education opportunities with residents and APP Fellows.
- Must have or be eligible for a DEA license and be approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
- Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board in NC required.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration date greater than 90 days from date of beginning practice.
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and make proactive decisions.
