Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing advice and guidance on regulatory matters, including licensing, product filings, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with external counsel and industry groups on regulatory matters, including advocacy, policy development, and strategic initiatives.
  • Managing regulatory risks and developing creative solutions to complex legal challenges.

Requirements For The Role

  • You must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • You should have 7-10 years of experience practicing insurance regulatory law, either in-house or in a law firm with a focus on insurance, financial services, or regulatory law.
  • You should have deep knowledge of state and federal insurance laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • You should have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex insurance regulatory requirements.
