About the Job

This Administrative Associate 3 role supports the Chief's office operations, including facilities and technology management. Responsibilities include overseeing budget and financial management, supporting internal and external communications processes, and managing higher-level processes such as faculty annual review and promotion and tenure dossiers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess the ability to solve problems using technical knowledge and creative problem-solving.

Key Qualifications
  • BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 8 years
  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to solve a range of problems using technical knowledge and creative problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working toward or holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Management experience in healthcare and/or higher education
  • Administrative experience in human resources
  • Knowledge and/or experience with University of Minnesota policies, systems, and procedures
