Nexstar Broadcasting is seeking a skilled Photographer/Editor Fill-In to join our dynamic news team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating cameras, editing equipment, and microwave systems to produce high-quality news content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras, editing, and microwave equipment to capture and produce news content.
- Assist in the production of news segments, including spot news and creative storytelling.
- Lift and transport heavy equipment (up to 50lbs) and work varied shifts.
- Operate a live truck and drive a vehicle as part of the job requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in broadcasting or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in television news gathering, editing, and microwave operations.
- Strong communication skills and sound editorial judgment.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and knowledge of local geography are a plus.
