Job Overview

At Camaco, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Precision Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for precision manufacturing and tooling.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including die maintenance, layout, fabrication, and repair of dies for production. Additionally, the specialist will document and record data, drive a hi-lo, and operate a crane to transport dies for maintenance or installation.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with formal training leading to Journeyman status as a Tool & Die Maker or equivalent on-the-job experience. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience is also required.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

* Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of cutting, forming, milling, grinding, assembly, tool steel composition, tool sharpening, hardness testing, machine repair, and metal fabrication

* Ability to calculate speeds and feeds and perform machine offsets

* Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department-related tasks required

* Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees

* Ability to work effectively with people

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
