Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL delivery driver to join our team at Builders Firstsource, Inc. As a CDL delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering materials to customer sites, adhering to driver safety and compliance regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and secure products, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicles
  • Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties, including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries
  • Act as a customer service liaison between the company and site customers, handling concerns and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles, performing routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, and Class A CDL license
  • Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience, 2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license, Class A CDL license, and pass MVR report
  • Obtain a DOT medical card and possess basic math and measurement skills
