Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, and maintain electrical and control systems, including PLCs, drives, and motors.
  • Utilize electronic work order systems to log completed and missed work.

Work Schedule

We are currently hiring for Night Shift Positions. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, with 2 on followed by 2 off, 3 on followed by 2 off, and 2 on followed by 3 off. The shift times are 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, with every other weekend being a 3-day weekend.

Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency events.
  • Minimum of a high school education or GED.
  • Tech school diploma and 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
  • Electrical/Controls experience may include plant power distribution, plant equipment controls, and plant electrical support.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required.
  • Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions.
  • Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery.
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment.
  • Need to be able to work in a tobacco-free environment.
