Job Title: Emergency Department Registration Specialist

About the Role:
The Emergency Department Registration Specialist will be responsible for completing the registration process to admit patients to all levels of care, discharging patients, answering phone calls, and greeting and directing patients and visitors. This role performs supportive clerical functions for the Emergency Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing patient registrations accurately and efficiently
  • Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Greeting and directing patients and visitors

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include an Employee Assistance Program, pharmacy special pricing, onsite education classes, and a 401k plan.
