Position: Culinary Specialist - Holiday Inn Beaumont, TX

Role Summary:

The Culinary Specialist is tasked with the creation, preparation, and presentation of all culinary offerings for the hotel, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards while maintaining a competitive and high-quality service.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong culinary expertise and skills.
  • Customer service orientation with a solid understanding of service principles and processes.
  • A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, ideally in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Experience in hotel operations or full-service dining establishments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares dishes according to established specifications, efficiently working across various kitchen stations as required.
  • Ensures all food is prepared in a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and surrounding areas to uphold a healthy and safe work environment that meets or exceeds all regulatory standards.
  • Manages portion control and minimizes waste to align with food cost objectives.
