About the Role

As a Home Interior Designer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Scheduling and completing selection appointments with Buyers within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Creating and maintaining a welcoming and memorable experience for all customers.
  • Scheduling, hosting, and conducting Design Center Previews on a regular basis.
  • Communicating proactively with Sales and other team members regarding customer interactions.
  • Completing selections for Models and Ready Homes within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Following up and resolving customer and vendor questions and concerns regarding selections.
  • Keeping Design Center displays up to date with current products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-3 years of prior experience in Interior Design.
  • Experience in residential design is preferred.
  • A minimum technical college degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead a positive atmosphere.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Adaptability to changing work priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows and back-office systems.
