Interventional Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and peripheral vascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Procedure Preparation: Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- X-Ray Image Quality: Ensure that all x-ray images are of good quality and x-ray related equipment for procedures are maintained.
- Patient Care: Attend to patient needs during cardiac lab procedures, circulate during procedure as applicable, and scrub during procedure as applicable.
- Monitoring and Recording: Monitor and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Life-Saving Measures: Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- On-Call Schedule: Participate in On-call per established call schedule.
- Patient Transportation: Assist in transporting patients to nursing units.
- Procedure Room Preparation: Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedures rooms by ensuring that adequate stock is available.
- Professional Competencies: Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
- Effective Communication: Effectively communicates with members of the care team to deliver high quality, patient centered care.
- Education: Associates Degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography.
- License: Current ARRT (R) and current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana.
