Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists to diagnose medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as needed
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
