Role Responsibilities:
As a member of our Mission Systems Engineering team, you will engage in:
  • Developing cutting-edge design solutions for avionics subsystems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Translating client specifications into detailed hardware and software requirements.
  • Conducting technical evaluations to determine the best design alternatives.
  • Utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to create functional and architectural designs.
  • Collaborating on the formulation of testing, integration, and validation plans for new capabilities.
  • Integrating hardware and software, performing regression tests, and supporting flight evaluations.
  • Diagnosing hardware and software challenges to guarantee system performance.

  • Positions are available at our facilities in Owego, NY and Fort Worth, TX.

Who We Seek:
We are looking for a dedicated Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineer who is enthusiastic about addressing complex engineering challenges. You should excel in a collaborative setting and demonstrate a strong commitment to technical excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field, with 9+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years with a related master's degree.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Experience:
  • Mission Planning and Management.
  • Aviation Human Factors and Human-Machine Interface.
  • Cockpit Avionics and Air Data Computer systems.
  • Navigation and Guidance systems.
  • Integration of Attitude Heading Reference Systems (AHRS).
  • Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) communications and Datalinks.
  • Familiarity with DO-254 and DO-178 standards.
  • Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems and Survivability technologies.
  • Proficiency in Requirements Development and System Design methodologies.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), preferably using Cameo.
  • Product Line Software Development experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
  • System Verification, Integration, and Testing skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and teamwork capability.

Work Environment:
