Job Summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team. As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing welding procedures and techniques to ensure the consistent production of high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding techniques and procedures to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Design and test welding fixtures and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet performance and appearance standards.
  • Develop and maintain reactionary plans for process troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical guidance to production personnel on welding techniques and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in welding technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in welding engineering or a related field.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of welding principles, materials selection, and welding technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with production personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
