Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. The successful candidate will have a strong background in transportation construction, with a focus on highway and bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction inspection teams for bridge and highway projects, ensuring compliance with MaineDOT specifications.
  • Oversee documentation of construction inspection, including pay estimates, change orders, and daily work reports.
  • Apply project plans and company policies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities on project sites and resolve issues related to construction work.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in transportation construction, with a focus on highway and bridge projects.
  • Valid US Driver's License required.
  • Strong leadership skills and decisive decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a project site environment for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
