Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. As a critical member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing mammography radiographic procedures to detect abnormalities in patients, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Job Overview

In this role, you will prepare patients for exams, administer contrast when necessary, and monitor imaging quality while promoting professional growth and maintaining high standards of care. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every patient receives exceptional care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography radiographic exams on patients, adhering to radiation safety procedures and ensuring technical quality of images
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely information
  • Conduct quality assurance on mammography equipment, contributing to ACR accreditation and other regulatory requirements
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
  • Take emergency calls within the department, providing 24/7 support to patients and staff
  • Evaluate patient care needs and take appropriate action to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services
Requirements
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)
