Housekeeper Role Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to ensure that designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitary, safe, and appealing condition, following established protocols and under the guidance of the supervisor. This role requires a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times. Additionally, the Housekeeper will interact with residents and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner, prioritizing resident safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • One year of relevant experience in a similar setting, with on-the-job training preferred.
  • A genuine compassion for and desire to assist the elderly.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions at a level necessary to perform the job effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to work responsibly as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Compliance with all health requirements and successful completion of a background check.
